CME Outfitters Medical Program Director Achieves CCMEP™ Certification

CME Outfitters, LLC, an independent accredited provider of multidisciplinary continuing medical education (CME), is pleased to announce that Monique Johnson, MD, Medical Program Director, has successfully tested for and received the Certified Continuing Medical Education Professional (CCMEP) credential awarded by the National Commission for Certification of CME Professionals, Inc. (NC-CME). She joins Managing Partners Sharon Tordoff and Jan Perez, who achieved their CCMEP status in 2008. CCMEP is the only credential that designates qualified individuals as Certified CME Professionals. CME professionals are responsible for maintaining the integrity of educational activities essential for relicensure of more than 600,000 practicing physicians and 60,000 practicing physician assistants in the United States.
The National Commission for Certification of CME Professionals, Inc. (NC-CME) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2006 by an independent group of peers within the CME community for the purpose of establishing a definitive certification program for CME professionals. The exam tests for competency in understanding principles of adult learning and professional development, effectively framing clinical content for maximum impact, and the ability to wisely interpret the rules and regulations that define the field.
